Mural Artist Statement

Art has been a part of Karina’s life since childhood, though for many years it remained just a hobby. Life, societal expectations, and career opportunities led her down different paths—first into law, where she earned a master’s degree and worked as a legal consultant, and later into the IT field. There, she built a multifaceted career as a Software QA Engineer, QA Lead, Project Manager, and even explored UI/UX design. But no matter how far she moved away from art, her heart continually pulled her back.

In 2021, Karina painted her first commissioned mural, and everything shifted. For some time, she balanced her creative work with her IT career, but in September 2024, she took a leap of faith and devoted herself to art full-time—a decision she has never regretted.

The years she spent in other industries were far from wasted. They shaped the way she approaches creativity—bringing structure, reliability, and a strong design sensibility into her artistic practice. This foundation became the heart of Feel Flow Space, where each mural, sculpture, and handcrafted piece is created with intention, care, and a deep respect for storytelling.

Nature, along with the stories of the people she encounters, serves as Karina’s ongoing inspiration. The beauty and complexity of the natural world—combined with the intimate narratives shared by clients—guide her creative process. Every mural she creates is more than paint on a wall; it’s a collaboration with the space and the people who inhabit it, transforming blank surfaces into living stories.

For Karina, the creative journey often begins with hesitation. The fear of making a mistake can be paralyzing. But once the first mark is made, the process becomes fluid—energizing, joyful, and deeply nourishing. She believes this is true not only for art but for life. Her work embraces experimentation, stepping beyond comfort zones, and exploring new mediums, all guided by her favorite philosophy:

“You never know until you try.”

This mindset fuels her artistic evolution, reminding her—and those who follow her work—that growth comes from stepping into the unknown, and that through creativity, we have the power to transform the world around us.
