“Tuscan Sunset Orchard” — Hand-Painted Mural for Canto West Village (NYC)

A custom mural for Canto West Village that matches the restaurant’s bright, joyful vibe. The scene captures a Tuscany farm at sunset—rows of greenery behind orange trees in bloom.

Fabrication & install

The artwork was painted off-site on polytab (non-woven mural cloth) to allow clean studio detailing and schedule flexibility. After sealing, the mural was adhered directly to the existing tile wall, producing a smooth, seamless surface while preserving the space. Warm perimeter lighting makes the colors glow during evening service.

Design notes

• Palette: saturated sunset oranges, terracotta, and deep greens, tuned to Canto’s finishes and lighting.
  
• Motifs: citrus trees, blossoms, terracotta jars, vineyard perspective, and four symbolic birds.
